COEUR d'ALENE — Sophomore midfielders Daniel Gutierrez and Judah Straight scored two goals each in the first half for the Cardinals in a Scenic West Athletic Conference win over the Gladiators of Kennewick, Wash., at Eisenwinter Field. 

"The guys played well," NIC men's soccer coach Brad Williams said. "I'm happy we're getting our goals back and with the way we played today." 

NIC (8-4-1, 4-3-1 SWAC) hosts Truckee Meadows (3-8, 2-6) of Reno, Nev., on Thursday.
