MIDLAND, Texas — North Idaho College concluded its stay in the Midland Kick-Off Classic with a 3-0 loss to Colby (Kan.) College on Saturday at Midland College.
"Our serve receive helped to keep the game close," NIC coach Drew Pascua said. "But when it was off, we struggled with offensive efficiency and that's when Colby went on its runs. It's not the outcome we wanted, but we have definitely seen growth in areas we can keep building upon. We will get there."
Individual statistics were not available.
NIC competes in the Aztec Classic next Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Pima Community College in Tucson, Ariz.
