EPHRAIM, Utah — Sophomore McKenzie White scored in the 35th minute for the Cardinals, who fell to the Badgers, the 16th ranked team in the latest NJCAA poll, in a Scenic West Athletic Conference match. 

NIC (5-7-3, 5-5-2 SWAC, 17 points) is sixth in the conference. The top four teams advance to the Region 18 Tournament starting on Oct. 30 at the site of the conference champion. 

Snow (9-3-3, 7-2-3, 24 points) is second. 

The Cardinals travel to fourth-ranked Salt Lake (11-1-2, 9-1-1, 28 points) on Thursday.
