Bio

Rylee Patton serves as the new assistant softball coach at North Idaho College. With a lifelong passion for softball, she has been immersed in the sport since the age of four, following in the footsteps of her grandmother, aunt, and mother, all of whom were softball players. As a third-generation coach, succeeding her grandparents and parents, Rylee carries a deep-rooted connection to the game.

She earned her Bachelor’s of Education in 2022 and her Master’s of Arts in Teaching in 2023. During her collegiate career at Pacific University from 2019 to 2023, Rylee excelled as a pitcher and shortstop. In 2022, she was named First Team All-Conference in the Northwest Conference, boasting an impressive .429 batting average and ranking 23rd in NCAA Division III for hits.

After concluding her playing career, Rylee transitioned into coaching, serving as the Assistant Coach and Pitching Coach at her alma mater, Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. Now in her third year of coaching college softball, she specializes in working with pitchers, infielders, hitters, and slappers, drawing on her extensive experience across the field.

Off the field, Rylee substitutes as a kindergarten and first-grade teacher in local school districts. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality moments with her family.
