SOFTBALL: Rough weekend on the road for the Cards

The North Idaho College softball team travelled to Walla Walla, WA on Friday, March 25 to take on the Warriors. The Cards fell in both games as the Warriors won 18-20 and 5-15.

Taryn Vanderwiel went four-for-seven with one double, a home run, two RBIs and two walks. Aleksya Batoon went four-for-eight with one triple, one home run and three RBIs. Hattie Imbler-Bremner went three-for-six with a home run and five RBIs.

The Cardinals continued the weekend in Pasco, WA as they played the Hawks of Columbia Basin College on Saturday, March 26. The Cards couldn't hang on as the Hawks won both games 7-8 and 2-11 respectively.

Kahlea Dumas went two-for-seven with a double, a triple, and a walk. Taryn Vanderwiel went two-for-seven with a double and one RBI. Emma Todhunter went three-for-six with two doubles and three RBIs.

The Cardinals' next game will be at home on Friday, April 1 as they host Yakima Community College at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
