WOMEN'S SOCCER: Cards 4-0 in Eastern Region after defeating Yakima

Since Hailee Mize has come back to the starting lineup following an injury in preseason, she has yet to give up a goal. Today’s 1-0 win against Yakima Valley College was no different.

“Hailee came up big time in today’s game!”  said Head Coach Kellsi Parson.

There were multiple moments in the game that Yakima had complete control and had many opportunities to put the ball in the back of the net. In the 60th minute, Grace Mulcahy switched the field and found Kendall Bell on the opposite. Bell beat a defender, cut back to the goal, and scored in the upper left-hand corner.

“I had talked with Kendall at halftime about putting her on the right side so she could beat their outside back and score,” stated PAarson. "It was an incredible shot!"

The women's soccer team plays again on the road Saturday, September 25 in Pasco, WA against Columbia Basin College at 12:00 p.m. Both teams are undefeated in conference play as of today.
