WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: Lady Cardinals set tone at home with win


The North Idaho College Lady Cardinals (11-3, 1-1) shot 63.2% for the night beating Treasure Valley Community College 90-80 at home on Saturday, January 5.  NIC set the tone early and never let up despite multiple comeback attempts by the Lady Chukars.  Sophomore Heidi Sellmann continued to be dominate around the basket finishing with 26 points while shooting 83%.  Freshman Alex Carlton went 3-3 from the three point line and finished with 17 points.  Freshman Halle Eborall scored 11 points while dishing out 8 assists and grabbing 5 rebounds.  Freshman Alivia Williams posted a stat line of 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists in just 8 minutes of play. 

NIC returns to action on Saturday, January 12, when they host Walla Walla Community College at 2:00 PM followed by the men’s game at 4:00 PM.  Both games can be viewed at
