Women's Basketball



Less than twenty-four hours after their overtime loss to Umpqua Community College, the North Idaho College women’s basketball team bounced back with a 71-43 victory over South Puget Sound Community College on Monday, December 17.  NIC outperformed SPSCC in every statistical category.  Leading the way for NIC was Keara Simpson with 17 points and 11 rebounds.  She and fellow Lake City High School teammate, Halle Eborall, led NIC in assist with 4 each.  In addition, Eborall joined Simpson with 11 rebounds.  Heidi Sellmann continued to make her inside presence known adding 12 points.  NIC finished with five players scoring in double digits with Anna Schrade tallying 11 points while grabbing a team leading 3 steals.  Alex Carlton and Madison Lommen both added 10 points.

With the win, the Lady Cardinals improve to 6-2 on the season.  They finish off the Holiday Inn Express NWAC Crossover today when they take on the Bellevue College Bulldogs at 1:00 PM at Christianson Gymnasium on the campus of North Idaho College.
