WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: Lady Cardinals win home opener


The North Idaho College women’s basketball team got their six-game home stretch off to a great start with a 74-26 victory over the Gonzaga University Club team on Saturday, December 2.  The Lady Cardinals outrebounded the Zags 49-29 while shooting 43% for the game.  Sophomore Heidi Sellman led the way for the Lady Cardinals with 19 points and 11 rebounds.  Freshmen guards, Halle Eborall and Alivia Williams followed with 11 points each.  Freshman guard, Alex Carlton, added 10 points.

The Lady Cardinals improve to 3-1 on the season with five more home games in December.  They return to action on December 7th when they host the North Idaho All-Stars comprised of former stand-out players from the area.  See for a complete upcoming schedule.
