MEN’S BASKETBALL: NIC hits triple digits


Freshman Nate Pryor and Sophomore Alphonso Anderson each poured in 25 points as 5 Cardinals scored in double figures in a 107-88 victory Friday night at the Best Western CDA INN-vitational at Rolly Williams Court.

Pryor added 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals while Anderson grabbed a game-high 8 rebounds to go along with 4 assists.
Freshman Emmitt Taylor was lights-out again from beyond the arc going 5 of 8 for 18 points. Sophomore Ray Quan Evans continued playing at a high-level with 16 points of 6 of 8 shooting while grabbing 7 rebounds, dishing out 5 assists and recording 3 steals. Freshman James Carlson’s stat line showed 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 steals.

The Cardinals wrap up round-robin play Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. against Medicine Hat College. If you can’t make the game, catch all the action on our You Tube channel at The Corey Symons Pre Game show comes your way at 3:50 p.m.
