MEN'S BASKETBALL: Cardinals grind out victory

Despite a cold-shooting night, the Cards knocked off host Western Wyoming 72-66 Saturday night in Rock Springs, Wyoming.  For the game, NIC shot just 35% from the field but 48% from beyond the arc.  Freshman Emmitt Taylor III continues his outside marksmanship by hitting 6 of 10 from beyond the arc for a game-high 22 points and Sophomore Iaian McLaughlin had a splendid night going for 14 points and a game-high 14 rebounds.

Coach George Swanson, on the Coach “G” post-game show said Taylor and Mclaughlin came up big:

The Cardinals, now 3-0, return home Thursday night at 7:30 to face Shoreline during the CDA Inn-vitational.  If you can’t make the game, tune into our You Tube channel at with the Corey Symons pre-Game Show at 7:20.
