VOLLEYBALL: Cards cruise to victory


The Cardinals took on Columbia Basin College, Friday, October 26th at Christianson Gymnasium. NIC, currently sitting in 4th place in the East Region, came out strong against a struggling CBC team, beating them easily in three sets: 25-10, 25-13 and 25-7. Hailee Etter led the team in kills with 12, followed by Sydney Bybee with 7. Bybee had an outstanding all around match for the Cardinals, also leading the team with 7 blocks.

The Cardinals meet up with Community Colleges of Spokane on Tuesday at the Spokane Falls campus. Spokane is currently ranked #1 in the East Region and also #1 overall in the NWAC. “Tuesday’s game is a very big game for us and it should be a fun one. I hope to see a few Cardinal fans in the stands cheering us on." said Head Coach Kelsey Stanley. Game time starts at 6:00pm.
