WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: Lady Cardinals beat Spokane


The North Idaho College Lady Cardinals beat the Community Colleges of Spokane 75-62 at home on Saturday, January 21.  A solid team effort forced CCS into 28 turnovers resulting in 26 steals for the Lady Cardinals.  Sophomore Cierra Dvorak produced a tremendous game with 18 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 steals.  Sophomore Whitney Meier led all players with 19 points.  Freshman post Sydney Hovde was a strong presence with another double-double of 12 points and 12 rebounds.  Sophomore Ronnie Harris led the Lady Cardinals with 4 assists.  

NIC is now 11-7 overall.  The Lady Cardinals travel to Wenatchee Valley College on Wednesday, January 24.  Tip-off is at 6:00 PM and is followed by the men’s game at 8:00 PM.  All North Idaho College basketball games can be viewed at  Follow @NICWBBALL on Twitter and Like us on Facebook for continuous coverage of the North Idaho College women’s basketball team.
