Women's Basketball



The North Idaho College Lady Cardinals surpassed the century mark Saturday evening, November 18, beating Southwestern Oregon Community College 109-85 in Christianson Gymnasium.  A balanced attack of offensive transition opportunities and half court execution led to four Lady Cardinals scoring in double digits.  Sophomore Cierra Dvorak scored 23 points while dishing out 5 assists.  Whitney Meier found her rhythm from the three-point line connecting on 6 out of 11 attempts and finished with 22 points.  Sophomore Ronnie Harris and freshman Sydney Hovde each added 14 points.  Dvorak, Hovde, and reserves Shelby Jordan and Abby Hamilton pulled down 6 rebounds each as NIC outrebounded SWOCC by 10.  Freshman Kelsey Auer led all players with 4 steals. 

The Lady Cardinals return to action Sunday, November 19, at 1:00 PM in Christianson Gymnasium against Bellevue College.  The game will be webcast at  Follow @NICWBBALL on Twitter for continuous coverage of the North Idaho College women’s basketball team.
