MEN'S GOLF: Cardinals Second at Highline Invitational

The Highline Invitational concluded yesterday with the Cardinal men taking second place as a team. The event was held at Twin Lakes G.C. in Federal Way, WA and was a unique event in the fact that it was a stableford scoring system rather than stroke play. The men finished the two days with 307 points which was 12 points shy of first place SWOCC and 14 points ahead of third place Bellevue College. Sophomore Todd Henderson had the standout performance finishing with 81 points which put him in a tie for second individually. Both Brady Nelson and Ben Harvey also had strong individual finishes with 77 points putting them both in a tie for fifth. The Highline Invitational was the last tournament of the fall for the men.
The men will have a couple months to make some needed swing changes and improvements to get ready for the spring season.
