Cardinals upend CBC in three

After a long home game stretch the Cardinals finally hit the road and headed to Columbia Basin College in Pasco, Wash. on Wednesday. North Idaho took it to them first two games beating CBC 25-14 in both. The Cardinals got caught on their heels in the third game and had comeback after being behind 14-18. NIC was able to pull it off winning 26-24. Head Coach Kelsey Stanley commented, “I was pleased with how we were able to get off the bus and compete. I was hoping to see us work on skills that we are lacking in the third game but to be honest it was more of us catching up from starting off so poorly. Columbia Basin has outstanding defense and if you are not ready teams that like will sneak a game or two by you.”
