First-year head volleyball coach Kandice Kelly was the 2002 Montana Gatorade Girls Volleyball Player of the Year and led Roundup High School to four Class B state titles while starring for the Panthers as a setter and outside hitter. She was named MVP at the volleyball state tournament for three years, and was also a three-time All-State basketball selection, and four-time Academic All-State honoree in high school.
Kelly continued her volleyball career at Montana State University, where she was a four-year member (2003-2006) of the Bobcat volleyball team. She is the MSU single-season (495) and career (1,720) leader in digs and helped the Bobcats to three Big Sky Conference tournament appearances. An honorable mention All-Big Sky selection as a senior in 2006, Kelly ranks second in Big Sky Conference history in career digs.
Kelly followed her former MSU assistant coach Jerry Wagner to the University of Montana where she obtained a master’s degree in business administration and was the assistant coach from 2007 to 2010. She was one of eight NCAA Division I coaches to receive the American Volleyball Coaching Association “30 Under 30 Award,” which recognizes up and coming successful coaches under 30 years of age.

Assistant volleyball coach Linda Hall is in her first year of coaching at North Idaho College. She attended Darby High School where she excelled as a student athlete, competing in volleyball, basketball, track, and tennis and receiving All-State honors in basketball. Hall went on to play at Miles Community College where her playing time was cut short due to an injury. While at MCC she gained experience as an assistant coach. Hall received a bachelor’s degree in applied health science from the University of Montana and has continued to stay involved by coaching local teams and camps.
