Leslie Pulley is a former cheerleader from Post Falls High School. After cheering in high school she attended Morehead State University where she competed and cheered for four years, while earning a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. In 2009 she was a member of Team USA, which took gold at the Cheer Union World Competition. Leslie joined the Cardinal cheer program as an assistant coach in January 2011.

Dawn Smith will be starting her fourth year of coaching at North Idaho College and is delighted to be sharing the position with Leslie Pulley and Tammy Androes. Smith graduated from Boise State University earning a teaching degree in business and math. She currently teaches at Post Falls High School where she was the former cheerleading coach. During her tenure at Post Falls, the varsity co-ed teams placed at the Idaho High School Division 4A and 5A state tournaments for six consecutive years. The 2003 and 2006 teams were named overall grand champions, which honors the top cheer program in the state. Last year the NIC College Cheerleading team placed first at the USA Cheer Competition in Anaheim, Calif.

Tammy Androes is starting her third year as an assistant cheerleading coach at NIC. Her cheerleading experience includes four years of cheering at Post Falls High School, where they were state champions in 2005 and 2006. She has also cheered for one year at NIC. Androes is married works full-time at a local financial institution.
